Help Save Sundance and Bring Him Home

Donation protected
My one year old Doberman Pinscher Sundance is currently fighting for his life at VCA in Gaithursburg, MD. On Sunday Decemer 22nd in the afternoon he collapsed in front of me. I took him to the vet and they said it looked Wobblers. After giving him a shot of fentanyl, he seemed to perk up so they sent us home with meds. Unfortunately, later that evening he began having full body tremors. Again they said there was little they could do and that his primary vet would be able to help him more if it persisted after 3 days. However, when he didn't eat the next day I took him to my vet and he said he didn't know what was wrong but he was sure it wasn't wobblers. He said we needed to go to a specialist immediately. When we arrived they decided to do their own blood tests and it turns out that my fur baby was septic and his body was not producing albumin. They said it looked like a blockage and that they could give him a transfusion, but that all the factors made his mortality rate 75%. I just could not, not try. So I signed up for my first credit card and decided to blow every last penny I had on my puppy who I've only known for 2 months but who I have been waiting my whole life for.

The Doctor's there are doing a great job of working with him, and he is currently beating the odds however his vet bills are currently rising. If you can find it in your heart to help us, I know we will love you forever. For them he is a Christmas miracle dog,

Although he is only one year old, the story of our fateful meeting began 30 years ago. 30 years ago I was born into a family with a Red and Rust cropped and docked Doberman Pinscher. Because of The Nubian Sundancer, I became obsessed with dogs. I volunteer at animal shelters and with rescues and donate as often as I can. Recently, I took a deep look inside myself, and knew I was ready, mentally and physically bring this wonderful breed into my home. I had such a wild journey that I even began shooting a documentary about finding the right dog and the adoption process. During the course of filming I met Sundance Archer Griffin Jr. (Semi renamed) and it was love at first sniff. However now he is in danger of being lost.

On Sunday afternoon after a day of play and relaxation Sundance got off the couch and collapsed. Now he is in a fight for his life. Please help me save my puppy.

i'll update with pictures of our (short) time together and definitely include pictures of how he is doing now. Also we accept prayers, thoughts, and anything else we can to keep him alive and well.
