Stroke Awareness 5K

The University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines is hosting their annual Stroke Awareness 5K. Donations will be going towards Altru Health Systems Stroke Awarness Program to help stroke patients and to continue to raise awareness on strokes.

What is F.A.S.T.?

F.A.S.T. is an acronym used to help recognize and act quickly when a stroke is suspected. As community members we can help identify stroke by looking for:

F-facial droop
A-arm weakness
S-speech difficulty
T-time to call 911.
