SirWhileyKitty, a Stray To Save

Sir Whiley Kitty is a totally blind 13-14 yr. old neutered male neighborhood stray found hit by a car over July 4th weekend. He was left lying on the street for three long hours, unable to move, going into shock. A resident placed food & water next to him,  called the police, and just watched him lay there three hours.  When my neighbor was walking her dogs at 11pm she discovered this, called me,  and together we put him into a carrier and rushed him to the Emergency vet.  With no feeling in his back leg, they felt he'd be paralyzed, likely incontinent, and wanted to euthanize.  They didn't think he would survive the night.  
We gave him a chance. 
Xrays revealed no internal bleeding (good news) but showed a broken pelvis and fractures.  We left him at the hospital for critical care.  Remarkably within 72 hours, he amazed everyone, going from prognosis of paralysis TO regaining feeling in the injured leg, doing bathroom business on his own, and prognosis of recovery. 
He was hospitalized in critical condition with round the clock medical care for 6 days in order to be stabilized. He's a fighter!   He is now with me in foster care for 6 wks. strict cage rest confinement & nursing care/caretaking to heal the pelvis.  //// When he heals, he will need an indoor forever home; anyone who has a soft spot for seniors please contact me. ---- NOTE: This campaign is strictly for high medical expenses incurred at Hollywood VCA Animal Hospital that saved his life.  They were great, but unfortunately give no break on the bill for good samaritan helping a stray. The costs included hospitalization (ER weekend afterhours and stay through week), exam, round clock IV fluids and IV pain meds, xrays, bloodwork, antibiotics, shots, meds, recheck. /// Any help would be greatly humbling and appreciated for Sir Whiley Kitty....the stray worth saving!  If you're reading this, THANK U FOR YOUR COMPASSION.
