Sibling Tree is an organization that provides resources and support for the siblings of individuals with special needs. We are applying for our non profit status so that we can start fundraising for new programs such as sibling support groups, sibling book clubs, sibling future planning, sibling policy forums, sibling conferences and so much more!
Programs we already have in place in Denver, CO include:
Sibling support group in Denver (5-13)
Sibling support group in Boulder (5-13)
Highschool support group (13-18)
Sibling Happy Hour (21+)
We are working on many more programs and we work with multiple organizations such as the Autism Soceity of Boulder County, the Autism Society of Colorado, Autism Speaks and we are the state chapter for the Sibling Leadership Network.
The cost to apply is $400. Anything that we raise over that will be put towards implementing new programs and funding for our existing programs. If you have a program you would like to see in place, let us know!
