WHAT IS SHOW & TELL:
Show & Tell is a concept shop that serves as a platform for unique fashion forward apparel, accessories, artwork, and housewares with a focus on:
- local independent designers
- sustainable fashion
- cause-driven brands
- ethically sourced and produced goods
- products made in the USA.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO:
For almost 2 years now, Show & Tell has been a vital part of the burgeoning retail scene in downtown Oakland. We have collaborated with a number of local artists and entrepreneurs to create positive, community-affirming events in Downtown Oakland.
The community has played a vital role in everything we have accomplished over the last 19 months and we thank you for all of your support.
Now you can help us accomplish even more! "¨
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:
As we approach our 2nd birthday we'd like a chance to BETTER SERVE and REACH OUR FULL COMMUNITY.
This is where you come in! "¨
Show & Tell is undergoing a major makeover for fall and we need your help to make it happen!
Right now:
"¨- We don't have a proper counter to ring up customers
"¨- Our walls are white... very white, and in need of repair"¨
- We offer a limited selection of plus-size and kids merchandise
"¨- We only have one fitting room"¨
- Our website has limited functionality
"¨What Will Be ..."¨
With your support and contributions, we can: "¨
- Purchase tools and supplies to paint and repair our walls
- We want our store to reflect the beauty and personalities of ... well, you all!
"¨- Add an additional gender neutral dressing room for the comfort of all our guests. "¨
-Add a cashwrap to help make checkout much more efficient for our guests. "¨
- Expand our merchandise offerings to include a more diverse community. We'd like to offer sustainable, cause driven plus-size and kids fashion!
"¨- Create a signature Show & Tell line that embraces and showcases the full fashion potential of our loyal Show & Tell customers
"¨- Update our web presence to improve the online shopping experience"¨
These updates will help to make shopping at Show & Tell an even better experience and allows us to bring you even more of the local and sustainable style you love!
