Shelby Dunkle Memorial Scholarship

Shelby Dunkle was a sophomore at Kelly Walsh High School when she lost her life in a UTV accident on November 5, 2010. She played for the Lady Trojan soccer team her freshman year and was looking forward to many more years. To remember her the Kelly Walsh staff and coaches started a memorial scholarship. The team helped raise funds for the scholarship for the first two years. In 2011 Shelby's family and friends started a run to help fund this scholarship.  The third annual run will be held july 26, 2014. Four scholarships have been given out totalling $2500. The money will go to the scholarship endowment fund held at Natrona County School District in Shelby's name. The only expenses have been for t-shirts, wristbands, and miscellaneous small items.
