Help Support Handcrafters! Handcrafted items are the best one can get! They are not
mass-produced, they are made by hand...with love. My name is Serenity and I started
making soap and other body products in 1998, because I was tired of the
same old mass-produced chemicals. Selkie Sensuals' products are
handcrafted, all natural, and often vegan. We (that would be myself and
my husband) use NO artificial colours, NO synthetically produced scent
oils, NO Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, NO Sodium Laureth Sulfate and we don't
test on animals.
I get wonderful reviews on all of my products
and I want to keep offering them to those who also want more natural
items on their skin. I have an ambition of establishing Selkie as a name
brand yet natural line of products and this is why I am asking for
help. I would have already done this, except for a series of personal,
natural and economic problems which had overtaken my family recently,
including an expensive move to another state for a job. We are only now
beginning to come out of these. Therefore, I don't currently have the
money to invest in Selkie like I would like to. However, I am convinced
of the excellence of these products and have never received a single
negative comment or review about my products. Because of this, I truly
believe that Selkie Sensuals could be a wonderful line of all natural
bath and body products.
All monies contributed would be used for
the following: insurance (because even the most natural products could
cause an allergic reaction and without insurance a small business could
lose everything, including personal assets of the family), web
maintenance (I do all of my coding, the monies would go to server space
and yearly URL fees), advertising (even the best products won't sell if
no one knows about them! I have some good connections for advertising,
just need to funds to move forward with it), raw supplies (soap
supplies, molds, oils, packaging), mail services for shipping,
production costs (electricity, water, label printing-with I do myself,
etc.), and business licenses (incorporation fees, etc).
