Santa's Workshop works year round to produce all of those gifts, that made me think we need to as well....
Every single year we hear about "Christmas in July." So this year when I started hearing that I got an idea. I am striving to start a campaign to raise money for this Christmas and those less fortunate families that often times dread the holiday season.
My goal is simple, to start raising money now to sponsor 10 families this Christmas. My goal is to provide each family with a $500 "gift" that will include; a christmas dinner basket with all the trimmings, toys and cold weather clothing, toiletries, and other holiday needs including gifts for the children and a modest Christmas tree with decorations.
The goal is to sponsor local families based in Dallas. We are planning to work with the Salvation Army Angels program and our local church WATERMARK to find families that are in true need and would otherwise not be able to have a christmas blessed with many of the little things that make it special. We are starting now so that we are able to put together a plan based on the money we can raise, begin assembling the toys and clothes and any other donations we can get. 100% of these donations will be used for this project. Please help us make this christmas special, to make it about sharing all that we are blessed with!!
