SGJJR & Mortenson CANstruction 2015

For the last eight years SmithGroupJJR has participated in CANstruction (www.chicago.canstruction.org), a food drive benefitting the Greater Chicago Food Depository (www.chicagosfoodbank.org). This year, SmithGroupJJR has teamed up with Mortenson Construction to raise awareness of hunger issues through the creation of structures made entirely of canned food.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 to cover all food costs and related expenses. In return for your generosity, we would like to give your company logo or full name a prominent place on our signage which will be on display at the Merchandise Mart from August 13th to September 8th. As our design progresses we’ll share it, giving your company an inside look as to how architects and engineers tackle the logistics of creating a bold, unique piece.
