SDCDA Capital Expense Campaign

We need your financial support! 


Help us update and upgrade our production and safety equipment so that we can continue to put on the shows that San Diego loves.  As a winner of the Bravo Awards: Best Dance Concert in San Diego 2014, the Award of Cultural Excellence by CPRS in 2014 as well as a previous San Diego’s A-List winner, we must continue to push the creative envelope and aspire to greatness.

 The San Diego Civic Dance Association supports a thriving community of dancers, their families and friends.  Our desire to provide a truly holistic dance education can be seen at over 20 different sites throughout the city of San Diego as we teach over 3,000 students a semester.  Add to that SDCDA’s commitment to producing and showcasing Award Winning shows and you can see that our efforts are the byproduct of over 25,000 volunteer hours and substantial financial resources.  Each year, our association is committed to providing financial assistance through Financial Aid Programs, Scholarship Programs and Costume Assistance programs so that those in our community can further their dance education irrespective of their financial situation.  This is a commitment that we care deeply about and want to continue to expand these programs moving forward.  With that being said, in order to continue to produce top flight programming and showcases and bringing in guest choreographers and master’s classes, we need to continually update and upgrade our production equipment to enhance our current capabilities.

We are announcing our Capital Equipment Improvement Campaign!  This campaign is designed to raise funds for the extensive capital costs associated with updating and upgrading our safety and production equipment without taking away from the resources that are allocated to our financial aid and scholarship programs.  This will be an on-going campaign that will be used to perform the necessary upgrades to keep our production and safety capabilities in line with our production goals and consistent with the types of performances that our community has come to expect.
