Raymond Downs Music Memorial

Ray Downs loved music, leading and playing in Big Bands for over 65 years. Ray's children all played instruments. Three of his grandchildren attended Plymouth Regional High School and were members of various bands including: Jazz, Pep, Concert and Honors Band. Ray enjoyed attending their concerts at school and "directing" their performances in his home. He believed strongly in the value of excellent music programs in public schools. Funds raised will be donated to the Plymouth Regional High School Music Department to continue fostering music in our schools.
