Randy Stromstad's Medical Costs

Donation protected
On May 16, 2015, Randy, along with his little brother Skylar and friend Jared, were involved in a rollover jeep accident.  Since Randy had internal injuries, he was sent via air evac to Scottsdale Osborn, where surgeons immediately began working on him.  The surgeon removed 50% of his small intestine and the right portion of his colon.  He was left open for approximately 36 hours until another surgeon reassessed his injuries and was able to close him up with 37 staples from his sternum to his pelvic bone.  He spent four days in ICU and a total of ten days in the hospital.

Since the accident, Randy lost 30 pounds.  When he returned home, his body had to relearn how to absorb food.  Although he has been a tremendous patient and a super healer, his road to recovery has been difficult.  Randy has been out of work since May 16th.  Heavy on his heart has been how he will support his two boys, Tyler and Mason.  We are still unsure how his body will process and/or absorb food but we are hopeful since he has developed a voracious appetite and has even gained some weight within the last week. The last surgeon to work on him commented that he does have plenty of viable organs to resume a normal life.  Let's continue to pray that this is the case!

This unfortunate accident reeked havoc on the lives of these young men.  Please help me in supporting them whether it is through prayers, kind words, or a monetary donation.  Thank you so very much for anything you can do to help.
