Regional Development Action Association is a Cambodian based NGO operating out of Siem Reap. We work in remote areas where healthcare, education and poverty are significant. Siem Reap province is one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia. People living in rural areas are the most effected with little or no access to healthcare or education.
Education is a lifeline out of poverty, whether it be academic or life skills. The poorer communities are the most disadvantaged, and with care and consideration to the needs of a community, I believe that together we can build productive lives. Education can provide hope, opportunity and security. Students develop a strong sense of self-worth and a deep sense of compassion and respect for their community and their country.
RDA's projects focus on assisting families living in rural areas in poor communities. Their aim is to provide health care, education, social services and business opportunities. With these four core projects we can help bring Cambodia out of poverty and to live with dignity.
