The mission of Project Brown Girls is, to be a beacon of light for underprivileged African American girls as they enter into adulthood
For every $1000 raised we will cover the cost of prom expenses for one underprivileged African American Girl. Applicants must have a 2.5 gpa, good school attendance, pursuing a higher education after graduation from high school, and must write a 1 page essay on why they deserve the donation.
Our goal is to not only help with prom expenses, but to help encourage, build self-esteem, guide, and mentor the young girls of our community.
The idea of this project was simply placed on my heart, and after months of it lingering in the back of my mind, I decided to give it a shot. So hopefully with your support we can make this happen! Thank You !
