Prindle's Kindle Relief Fund!

Hi all!

Fireworks came a little early this year.

As you know, our sister's house caught fire on Thursday, June 25, 2015 around 10:30AM. And although Jared heroically tried to stop the flames with a handy fire extinguisher - a very brave move for a 12-year old, might I add! - tragically, the fire spread too quickly and the 1827 farmhouse was completely destroyed.

While everyone got out safely, including Piggy (their cute little guinea pig), both boys, Jared (12) and Keith (16), lost absolutely everything.

Taking after his Aunt Linda, Keith was most devastated to have lost... his shoes. Not just any shoes. But rather a collection of one-of-a-kind LeBron Nikes that he personally designed and created online.

Jared, on the other hand, was deeply saddened by the loss of his xbox one.  A major trajedy for any 12-year old.

It's with a deep heart that I tell you that their house - a home that they've lived in for the majority of their childhood - will undoubtedly have to be bulldozed.

And while their spirits are as high as they can be, it's during this saddened time that the Prindles really need the support of family, friends and the entire community. But we didn't have to tell you that, you've already been helping out.

Although some photos were salvaged, the albums themselves were completely soaked in water. Knowing this, the Waterville High School just called and offered their gym as a place to dry them out.

St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church across the street  offered the boys pizza and drinks as they sadly watched the five fire departments try and save their home.

And even the Waterville Library waived the fee for the unreturned books.

The outreach and support from the Waterville community has been amazing, and we thank you. Everyone has been asking how they can  help out.

And while Kris and Scott would love a home cooked meal, it's really the boys that need us the most.

We ask that you kindly contribute to the Prindle's Kindle Relief Fund to help Jared and Keith piece back together their wonderful life in Waterville.

We thank you for your generosity and request that you kindly spread the word.

Regards,
