Thank you for taking the time to read this.  We have been overwhelmed already by donations through our support letters and by prayers for our family as we travel this road.  Long story short, we have been led (we believe by God) to add to the Gardiner Tribe.  For some of the backstory on how this happened, please visit www.princesselenag.wordpress.com  There is an option on that site to follow our journey if you wish.
We are humbling ourselves and asking for help in raising funds to bring Elena home.  These funds will be used for many things.  First and foremost they will be used for attorney fees.  We hired a lawyer to get Elena a Mexican birth certificate and we have that.  That is a huge step.  We now have an immigration lawyer here in the States and he is working to get her home.  There will be another lawyer involved to get her citizenship.  We also are looking for funds to make home improvements required for an adoption (biggest would be a pool fence).  We will also use funds for travel to and from Imuris to see Elena.  We assure you that every cent you choose to donate will be used for this process.
