Penny's Cruciate Repair

Penny is an 8 year old olde english bulldogge who came to us from the Boston MSPCA. Penny needs your help to get the surgery she needs!
After years of arguing, my husband finally agreed to go look at the dogs in the adoption center. We went into the MSPCA on July 19th and we saw Penny, a bulldog, Cory's dream dog.
She came home with us two hours later.
When we adopted Penny we understood she would need dental surgery. We knew that would set us back $1,000 but we were okay with that. We saved up and had the procedure done late August.
Penny is the absolute love of our lives! We are the perfect family unit with our baby bully!
Penny started to limp badly and was not bearing much weight on her back right leg.
The adoption center said she was fine, but 3 weeks went by and I finally decided to bring her in and get her leg checked out.
Immediately the veterinarian knew she had torn her cruciate, a common injury, but one that is very expensive to repair. We were quoted $3,000 and given pain medication to tide her over until the surgery, which is absolutely necessary, on October 8th.
We are crushed, we just got our baby, and we were worried about the $1,000 dental cost. Now, on top of that, we have had to schedule a few thousand dollar surgery.
She is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY, but we just dont have those pennies.

-Anesthetic *special attention must be paid to Bulldogs under anesthesia
-Hospital Stay
-Pain medication
-Latural Suture in the right hind leg
-Post operative check ups
