Posh for Charities - Ovarian Cancer

Donation protected
My grandmother Juanita Revell passed away from Ovarian Cancer on February 14, 1998. My mother and I have decided to host our 1st Annual Posh for Charities in honor of my grandmother. Our goal is to raise $1000 to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Long Island. Your donation will go towards raising awareness, promoting education, increasing the survival rate, and improving the lives of women with Ovarian Cancer. Every dollar helps. Our mission is to show the world that not all Cancer is pink. Ovarian Cancer is silently taking away our mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, and best friends out of our lives. TEAL (TAKE EARLY ACTION & LIVE) -1 in 71 women will develop Ovarian Cancer in their lifetime -44 women lose their lives each week in the tri-state area -New York ranks 3rd in the nation with respect to Ovarian Cancer related deaths What is Ovarian Cancer? Ovarian cancer is a disease in which malignant or cancerous cells are found in the ovaries. An ovary is one of two small, almond-shaped organs located on each side of the uterus that store eggs or germ cells and produce female hormones estrogen and progesterone.
