On June 22, 2015 the City of Portland, Michigan was hit by an EF1 tornado resulting in a significant loss of trees. For more than a dozen years, the City of Portland has been recognized as a Tree City USA.
Unfortunately, the City's insurance coverage does not include replacing damaged trees. In an effort to reLEAF the community, we are accepting donations to allow us to plant more trees.
You can help by:
* Making a donation to plant trees
* Donate trees (please contact City Hall for more information)
* Give the gift of trees in honor/memory/celebration (if donation exceeds $200, recipient will receive a certificate recognizing the gift of a tree)
