Help the Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle create a 10 year retrospective CD!
Group members quip that it's sort of a support group for compulsive songwriters. Through monthly meetings and a weekly open stage it offers camaraderie, education, critiques, stage time, paid gigs and more for closet songwriters who may have few other outlets for their music. Since 2005, group members have self-funded a series of annual compilation CDs containing more than 178 songs by 79 individual Pittsburgh-area songwriters.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this unique album series, the Songwriters Circle is raising money to fund a retrospective album containing one song from each of the project's 10 CDs (details at http://pittsburghsongwriterscircle.org).
We're asking for your help. Any donation will be appreciated.
For gifts of $20 or more, we'll send you a copy of the retrospective CD (include name and street address).
