Angie's Fund-Giving back to a caregiver

Donation protected
This fund was created by the friends and family of Angie Eller with the intention of giving as much love, prayers, support, and generosity to the Eller family during their journey to beat cancer. It is our hope that we can make this time they have together free from financial burden, so Angie can fight and ultimately beat this disease.

Angie's story:

As a wife, mother to three young children, and a registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UC Davis Medical Center Angie has long been a pillar of strength and support for many. The last few months Angie has struggled with a nagging cough, thinking little of it due to the winter months and being a surrounded by a plethora of childhood illness' on a day to day basis. Despite going to the doctor and being given the standard chronic cough medications, nothing seemed to help her cough and she continued to push through; however, the last few week's things took a turn for the worse. Although at 39 Angie has lived a healthy active lifestyle as a marathon runner and a non-smoker, she suddenly found it difficult to go on her routine runs or even complete simple tasks like walking up the stairs. Thinking that her cough had turned into pneumonia Angie went to the doctor, who ordered her a chest x-ray. This decision led to the discovery of fluid in her right lung and after a series of tests this what is known so far:

"˜Her condition is Stage 4 lung cancer which has also migrated to her liver. She will have her chest drained again and then will undergo Chemo Therapy on an outpatient basis. Please know that she has great strength and is however, very, very tired. There is no known cure for this type of cancer and it is my belief that treatment is both medical and faith based. I don't feel that anyone can "beat" cancer but at times Stage 4 cancer has gone into miraculous remission for some patients and sufferers of Cancer." "“Justin Eller (Angie's husband)

Angie is truly one of the most kind and gentle souls on this earth. She has been a dedicated nurse for nearly 19 years, caring for families and their children in their darkest hours by bringing each of them a small piece of her light. Please help us return the favor by giving the gift of your love and support to Angie and her family during this difficult time.

Thank you!
