Help TNR Feral Cats in Newark

There is a large colony of cats living in and around a housing development in Newark, NJ. They are breeding at a fast rate, and we want to trap and neuter them before kitten season begins this spring.
The tenants are fed up with the cats and are trying to make them go away by throwing bleach at them. We want to also educate the tenants so they know that the cats (after they are fixed and not having kittens) can help their community by keeping mice and rats away.
100% of donations will go toward spaying and neutering 20 cats at People for Animals in Hillside, NJ. People for Animals charges only $55/neuter or spay AND innoculations for distemper and rabies.
We are a small group of volunteers (4 people) and would also love for anyone with a cat trap to join us in our effort to TNR this neighborhood. Please email for details.
