Baby Orphanage Fundraiser

As many of you know, I'm currently abroad doing volunteer work. Since August, I've been at a baby orphanage just minutes away from Boudha stupa, one of the holiest sites in the Buddhist world. The orphanage is home to 14 beautiful, energetic kids but is desperately in need of support from those more fortunate than themselves.
I'm hoping to raise money while I'm still abroad in order to purchase inexpensive goods here rather than sending them at a high cost from the States. With the help of you, my friends and family, I'm hoping to raise enough money to at least purchase some winter clothes for the kids.
Provided there is enough support to go beyond that simple goal, I'd like to purchase everyday clothes for the kids. What they wear now is shared amongst them all-- regardless of age, size, or gender. When they change out of their school uniforms, these home clothes are often still wet as they must be washed and reused daily.
Again, if there are sufficient funds to further support these growing kids, I'll plan on purchasing a wider range of shoes as sizing is a continuous issue. (I'm certainly hoping parents reading this can empathize!)
I'm hoping that anyone reading this can donate at least $1.00 to the cause. I know many of you are my college friends, and so I'm hoping just one dollar can be spared from your budgets to help out these wonderful kids! If you feel inclined, please pass this project on to parents, colleagues, anyone whom you feel would like to contribute to the lives of these children. Any amount will go miles!!
