BPA National Leadership Conference

Hi there! My name is Nathan and I'm a junior in high school. I need your help to attend the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference (NLC) on May 6th-10th in Anaheim, California.

What is Business Professionals of America?
Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related fields. BPA has 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states. For more information, please see bpa.org.

What is the NLC?
The NLC, or National Leadership Conference, is an annual conference by Business Professionals of America. At the NLC, students can compete, gain leadership skills, network, make friends, give service, and much more.

Why am I attending?
I received a silver medal for the Computer Programming Concepts open event, which qualified me to go to the NLC. The main competition I competed in is Web Site Design Team. We placed first place at regionals which qualified us for the State Leadership Conference. At the SLC, we placed third there but unfortunately only the top two get to go to the NLC for the web design contest.

How your donations will help
The National Leadership Conference is expensive to attend because of airfare, hotel costs, registration, etc. The cost for me will be around $900. I am doing popcorn fundraising though my school, but it will be pretty hard to raise this much money in under a month with just that. By donating you will greatly help me get to the National Leadership Conference.
