Name change and dinner to celebrate!

Marianne and I are planning to change our last names to Ayers, but because North Carolina doesn't allow us to get married it's not as simple as presenting a marriage certificate and boom! done. We've got a number of hoops to jump through (fingerprinting, state and local background checks, possibly standing before a judge to name a few) and all of those hoops come with a price - $14  here, $16 there, $120 to file the paperwork - it all comes out to $162 a piece.

We're hoping to raise $375 total, $324 for the name change and some left over to celebrate with dinner. Here's to hoping you all can help us out!
