NUDS Horseplay: The Troy Musical

NUDS Joins the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2015!

Napier University Drama Society (NUDS) has been around for a while now, being awarded 'Best Society' eighteen years in a row, this year receiving the prestigious Team Napier and Most Active Society titles. The society, consisting of over 80 members, including actors, tech and marketing teams and executives, anually put on two performances. 

After years of thinking about joining the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we believe the society has grown and matured to a level where we can (in utter terror and joy) be part of the world's largest arts festival. 

August 2015 will see the society putting on a two-week run of Horseplay - The Troy Musical -  a fun, family-friendly comedy about Greek gods in the time of Troy - which will incorporate talent not only from NUDS, but other university societies too, as we have fantastic talent that should be showcased. 

We therefore ask you to help us make this production great - the society's budget is not enough to cover the costs of this production. 

The various costs include venue renting, Fringe entry fees, production and technical costs like costume, props and equipment rent, as well as marketing.
