National History Day in D.C.

Ella Downard and Joy Kim have created an award winning documentary about Malala Yousafzai.  Malala was targeted by the Taliban for her belief in women's educational rights.  She has fought for women's equality and is the youngest recpipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.  This documentary was chosen to be showcased during National History Day June 11- 15 to be held in College Park, MD.  Both Ella and Joy will represent Northland Prepatory Academy and the Flagstaff community.  

Northland Prepatory Academy is asking the Flagstaff community to help send these girls and their teacher to Maryland/D.C.   

There are multiple ways that you can help to support NPA's National History Day Club and these students.  Under the Arizona Tax Credit Program individuals can donate up to $200 and those filing jointly can donate up to $400.00 to NPA's National History Club.  If you have already donated your tax credit for 2017 this fundraiser is still considered a tax deductible donation.  

Please note that these funds will specifically benefit the Northland Prepatory Academy National History Day Club
