NAMI Christmas Fund 2015

Every year some people who have mental challenges find themselves inpatient over  Christmas.  I am honored to have been chosen to set up this campaign to help those in need of comfort during the upcoming Christmas seaso. The purpose of NAMI's holiday giving program is two fold. NAMI goes to these institutions to give gifts of love and understanding. Our first is education. We do this by giving out educational material about mental health choices. The other purpose is to provide hope. We give out bags loaded with gifts of cndy, cards and books both humorous and serious along with personal nots written by other people who have faced the situation these peole how fonnd themselves in. Our goal is to offera  hand of friendship and compassion and to lesson the suffering caused by being ill during Christmas.
