Morgan's Rising Star

On November 6th 2015, fifteen year old Morgan Lauren Dodds from Ryton in Gateshead, sadly passed away. Morgan was an aspiring performer who had a passion for singing, dancing and acting. She was a student of Pauline Quirk Academy of Performing Arts, which has proven to be a brilliant platform for helping young people to begin their career in film, television and theatre. Not all families can afford to pay for their children to attend a performing arts centre, that could change their future and help them to forget the hardship that daily life can bring. Morgan was a caring, selfless girl who would always help others. In her memory, her family would like to raise enough money to fund a scholarship for at least one talented, disadvantaged, young person, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to follow their dream. Morgan's legacy could help to change the future of another young person for the better, and help them to become a Rising Star.
