I'm, Constance Anna Palelei, your Miss American Samoa United States 2015! You can help make sure that American Samoa is represented at Miss United States this year in Washington D.C. from June 30th-July 5th! (*Miss United States is the only national pageant to accept a delegate from the territory of American Samoa.)
Growing up, I was always asked where my family was from, and often times that question lead to a whole host of others and even included teachers asking me to point out American Samoa on a map in front of the class. Today, many of the people I meet also have no clue where American Samoa is or if it is even a real place. That is why I am so excited to represent American Samoa in the Miss United States Pageant this Summer. And by the end of all the Fourth of July activities and pageants I hope that every contestant and their families will know that not only does American Samoa exist, but it is an American Territory, consistently one of the most successful recruiting stations for United States Military and a beautiful place to explore and adventure in.
