Our beloved nanny could use your help!

It completely breaks my heart to write this, as I cannot imagine the pain this family feels to lose such a great partner/father so soon. Our expectant nanny Mary Luz lost her partner Victor Wednesday night to diabetes at only 48 years old.  He was undiagnosed and by the time he made it to the hospital Monday, he was in a diabetic coma & they couldn't save him. Exactly six weeks prior to the birth of his only child, robbing her of ever knowing her father and robbing the sweetest lady in the world of finally having a loving partner to share parenthood with after being a single mom to her 11 year old son.  Mary Luz is one of the most loving care takers of our children we've ever known.  She loves them like her own and is hardworking, humble & positive. I can only hope she can find strength through all of this to keep that outlook on life for herself and her children.  She had mentioned the struggles of being a single mom and how she couldn't do it alone again and she was thrilled to have found a partner dedicated to being a good father & anxiously awaiting the day he could hold his baby girl.  He had collected clothing, diapers, baby gear & a life size mini mouse doll over the last 9 months for her.  Mary luz beamed with pride that she was the one he chose to finally raise a family with.  (Being a 48 year Colombian man with no children is pretty uncommon) Mary's son even called him Papi since he treated him like his own.  It is going to be tough going for them, and we have given her a raise to help offset some of the expenses but we are unable to make up the full difference of having another household income.  I'd love to ask for your help, as your donation will go a long way, even $5.00 or $10.00.  If I can raise $5,000, she will not have to worry about money for at least the next year, which would allow her to grieve properly & be there for her son & infant baby girl without the finicial burden of her reality being a single mom again.  Any help yup can offer is appreciated beyond measure for this family.  Here is a photo of Victor enjoying a long weekend with Mary Luz 4 weeks ago.
