Mary Lee Memorial

My mother Mary Lee was a strong hard working woman. She raised two two children, my sister and I with little to no help. She worked two or more jobs most of her life with maybe two or three hours of sleep a day. She did whatever it took to give my sister and I the best life she could. My mother worked so hard that later in life her body started giving out. Her knees started giving out. Her doctor thought it best to replace the knees so they had susurgery. Less than a year later those knee replacements got infected so they replaced the implants. To make a long story short the replacements got infected five more times with four more rreplacements. The last time the infections were do bad they had to amputate both legs. After the amputation the infections continue to the point that her bone marrow quit making red blood cells. Because of this her insurance dropped her and she couldn't get insurance anywhere else. She suffered through countless surgeries, blood transfusions and very long hospital stays. She fought for ten more years before she left this life two nights ago. Now that she is gone and has no insurance my sister and I are doing our best to give her the funeral that this woman deserves. I'm truly sorry to say I am failing her. I'm asking for help in giving her the proper send off that this strong hard working mother has more than earned. I love you mom and I'll see you soon.
