If we have an opportunity to aid one who's broken, we are called by God to do so. We must give as we have been given, noblesse oblige.
The purpose of our nonprofit is global, we don't limit our love to people from just one nation, or of one religion. We seek opportunities to work through trusted networks in foreign nations, to help elevate the lives of those in need.
Our current causes include:
REFUGEES IN GERMANY. We have an opportunity to aid the refugees who arrived in Germany these last few years; 1.5 million people fled from various Middle Eastern and African states, in search of a safer life. The money raised will support the work of Flüchtlingshilfe St. Johannes Baptist, www.fhshs.de
The refugees in the town of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock live four to a room. The town has 27,000 Germans and 750 refugees. Currently, an old hotel is being remodeled to allow for housing for 300 more refugees. We are goaled to raise $1.5M, one dollar for the 1.5 million refugees Germany welcomed.
SCHOOLGIRLS IN TANZANIA - As cited in a recent CNN article, the high cost of menstrual pads can equate to as much as 10% of one’s income. This high cost results in many girls missing school each month, as they cannot afford the pads. We are fundraising to purchase menstrual supplies. In-kind donations are gladly accepted too. Please email me at [email redacted] for an address to ship product.
LIBRARIES IN MYANMAR - We're partnering with local villages to help them build libraries. The government will donate 25 books to each library the villagers can complete.
CHILDREN IN VIETNAM - Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation provides exceptional care to Vietnamese children and families in crisis. www.bluedragon.org
DISABLED ORPHANS IN CHINA - Located in a small village outside of Fuzhou, China, Hidden Treasures is a sanctuary for orphaned children with significant special needs. www.loavesandfishesintl.com
SAVING WHALES - Visit our Global Goods store to support the whales, https://shop.loveisglobal.org/category/bamboo-straws With every bamboo straw pack purchased, we donate 20% of the proceeds to Save the Whales (savethewhales.org) and the Center for Whale Research (whale research.com).
We have suggested donation levels as a guideline, but no contribution is too small, give as you are able. (If your company matches donations, or is willing to give in-kind, please mention that in the comments section.) If you want to restrict your donation to a certain cause, please notate that in the form.
