Its been a long time coming and way too long since I've released an album! I love singing and being an artist in the music industry! It has been a satisfying and wonderful way to use the gifts and God-given talents that seemed to come naturally to me since I was just a young girl. I've met some amazing people, entertained in some of the most prestigious venues and have had opportunities beyond my wildest dreams! I've toured over 15 countries including England, Scotland, Whales, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, China, Tiawan, Japan, and Korea. I was a member of The Mamas & The Papas and The Buckinghams and sang or toured with top artists like Gary Puckett, Martha Reeves, The Spinners, The Monroes, Dick Wagner, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, The Turtles, Gary Lewis, The Grassroots, The Harry James Orchestra......and to say the least, it's been an amazing run!
I could go on and on talking about where I've been but this is not about the past but about right here and right now. I've been on this journey to record this album for quite some time now. I was so geared up when I started this campaign to fund my album. I didn't realize how difficult it would be. I've hit walls and endured endless hours in the studio as well as behind the keyboards creating the musical symphony of my life. I soldier on hoping that you will find a way to help me see this through!
I've taken another look at my goal. I started out with the idea of recording with Grammy award winning producer Warren Huart and as it stands financially I am recording some things with him and other things in my home studio to save some money and take this music to where ever it leads!
Its been awhile since I've started this campaign. So far we've completed a few songs on our own. I have a handful of wonderful songs ready to be recorded including "California Dreamin'", my legacy from my time with The Mamas & The Papas!! After we record we need to take it to be mixed, mastered and then reproduce a physical album. I thank all of you who have donated. Please consider preordering!
