Our 4444km run (to Lapland & back!!)

During this second national lockdown, the players of Wootton Blue Cross are running the distance of Wootton to Lapland.....and BACK!! Our mens, ladies and veteran team’s have all decided to take part in this challenge, with the hope of raising lots of money and ensure that our much loved club survives in these tough times (we are working on improving the changing room and toilet faculties and repairing issues with our ceiling). As the crow flies, Lapland is EXACTLY 2222km from Wootton, so we decided, not literally run to Lapland and back but as a club, try to run this distance (4444km) before our Christmas meals on 19th December (we hope...)!! We realise that this is a huge distance to cover but we are all looking forward to getting out (even in this wet, cold and dark Winter weather) to make it happen...and some of us even hope to bump into Santa along the way too!!!
