Keeping Kaidyn Healthy

Hi, my name is Emily. My son was born 7 weeks early and spent the first 3 on a ventilator touch and go... he finally came home and has had breathing issues ever since then... Asthma, congestion, fluid in his lungs, pneumonia, etc.. Between his breathing and fluid on his lungs, he also has chronic ear infections at least 3-5 times a month.. Every morning when we wake up we have to change his bedding becaause so much fluid has leaked out of his ears. He just turned 1 on January 20, and on Jan 26 at his 1 year check up he stared off into space, opened his mouth, and threw up just rolled out of his mouth.. thats when the doctor informed us that he had a seizure.. he was rushed to our medical center and stayed until February 6 getting treatment. CT scans, ECGs blood drawn, fluids, antibiotics, etc. Meanwhile his medicaid ran out on the 22 of January so for every test and treatment he has had since January 22 is having to come out of my pocket until I am able to get him on some type of insurance. I've applied for multiple emergency insurance programs as well as made many trips to the social security office to deal with them and disability and have just been given the run around only a portion will be covered and i havent received a penny so far.. I am 21 years old and I work usually 20 hours or less a week at Mc'donalds for $7.25 an hour as well as go to school to become a Medical Assistant so that I can get a better job soon. I have a go fund me account set up to help me with medical expenses that I just set up today. I am by no means asking you to post this if you dont feel comfortable because I hate asking for handouts but it is there if you are able to post it... Share with your friends or anyone who is able to help. if not money but prayers... the smallest amount helps me tremendously.. I have set this up in hopes of coming up with some type of profit for his medical bills as well as to make up for the work i have been having to miss due to his hospitilizations. (Seeing as I also have a 2 year old to provide for as well.. alone) i thought maybe even if you arent able to contribute at all financially i strongly believe in prayer and if you could at least share my page so that maybe I could help my son out a little more than I am able to right now because at the moment I am basically down to nothing and im not sure what to do at all!.... thank you SOOO much for your time to read this and again, if you can't donate with funds, prayers mean so much as well :) I hope you as well as your family have a blessed night!!
