Help Katie Save the Sea Turtles

This year for my CHOOSE (Croton-Harmon Options or Opportunities for Senior Experience), I will be traveling to Costa Rica for three weeks to volunteer in turtle conservation. Growing up my family and I vacationed in the outer-banks of North Carolina, where we observed not only the majestic quality of sea turtles, but also their vulnerability in the environment.  I'm asking for your support to help me fund this trip. Your donation will make it possible for me to play a role in helping to save the sea turtles of Costa Rica. My responsibilities will include: beach patrols, building hatcheries to protect eggs from predators, beach cleaning, counting and tagging sea turtles, locating nesting females, and collecting eggs. The money raised will help finance the materials needed and ensure my safe travel and stay in Costa Rica. Any contribution that you can make would be greatly appreciated!
