Send Katherine to New York!

My name is Katherine Lane and I have an amazing opportunity to study ballet at one of the best training schools in the country this summer. I have wonderful training locally at Infinity Ballet, but at my age most people who aspire to dance professionally travel to summer intensives where they have the opportunity to receive in-depth training and meet people in the industry.

I have been accepted to the Ellison Ballet Summer Intensive in New York City this year, and I am beyond excited!

I have always loved to perform. As a four-year-old I would sing bits from Phantom of the Opera (you can see here ) to anyone who would listen. But dance is more like a neccesity to me. On days I don't have a class (in other words, Sunday) I find myself still dancing at home, bumping into furniture, driving my family crazy.  I am working with all my energy and ablility to become a professional dancer.  It isn't an easy goal, but opportunities like this are invaluable to helping me get there.

It isn't cheap. The cost of the Ellison Ballet Summer Intensive is $3225.  The deposit of $1000 is due in only 10 days - Feb 27. If you can help me in any way toward my goal, thank you!
