Contribute or become part owner of a circus center in Fort Collins, CO.
As the current owner of Fort Collins Circus (Fractal Tribe Fort Collins, LLC), I am a teacher of dance, tumbling, gymnastics, yoga, acroyoga, and aerial arts to students ages 18months to 58 years. Preschoolers, school aged children, teens and adults would benefit from having alternative fitness, artistic expression, and social experience opportunities in a circus center.
Our community of circus artists would greatly benefit from a home in Fort Collins to train, teach and perform. Currently these friends travel 50 to 65.2 miles to Boulder and Denver to train! 100+ students of mine have recently been displaced and need a home. This is mainly due to the selling of a warehouse building, but I have an opportunity to lease part of the building to continue such offerings!
I have been teaching for almost 20 years, have a BFA in Dance, MS in Sport Pedagogy, Licenses in K-12 Dance and K-12 PE, and a 200 hr yoga teacher certification.
All funds will be used as start up capital for rent and insurance. I already have the equipment needed to start business, though it will need to grow eventually.
