Recover from Lyme/Moving to Florida

Hi friends and family,
As I approach the deacade mark of being disabled with chronic Lyme disease, I have slowly recovered enough to take care of my basic needs (grocery shopping, fixing my own meals...) and having lived with friends and family since my husband left me 2 years ago, I have managed to scrounge together enough to buy a little cottage in St. Augustine, Florida.
Unfortunately I don't have enough left over to rent a UHaul to actually move my belongings . WOW, it's expensive to move cross country! The once I am down there the inspector has recommended a few things to keep the house safe (like removing the huge oak branches hanging over the house!
To use a moving company it is $6,000 - to rent a truck, buy gas and get people to help load and unload, pay for a one-way flight for a friend to drive the truck and auto-hauler (I am not well enough to drive that far on my own yet) and additional funds to cover move-in expenses like utilities and ineternet, I have put together a budget of $5,500 for everything.
Please help if you can. I know Lyme can really wipe out people's finances so if you are struggling just say a prayer. I don't know what I would do without my friends and family!
Of course there are ticks in Florida but not a fraction of the number in New England, and my Lyme doctor believes the warmer weather will be condusive to less stress and faster recovery.
I am mortified to be in this position, but I really need help to take this last step in my big plan to start over in my own home away from the ticks and the cold!
Even the smallest donation will help! Without you I will survive, but WITH you, I will be able to focus on coplete recovery, finishing my Lyme series of books and working on helping people with Lyme through providing resources, and hopefully promoting legislation that will help everyone with chronic Lyme and co-infections.
