Study Abroad In China : Fall

Dàjiā hǎo! (Hello Everyone :D)

My name is Jasmin LewisPierre and I am currently a sophomore in Florida at Broward College. God willing I will be receiving my associate’s degree by Spring (2015) and after that my goal is to study abroad in China for the fall semester! Reason being, my major is Chinese Language and I plan on getting my degree at FSU.

However, since my college does not have Mandarin as a course I will not be up to par for my junior year at FSU to obtain my degree and graduate on time.

Luckily, there is company by the name of CIEE (who has many study abroad programs) that I would be participating in. By doing so, this will give me an opportunity of a lifetime! As well as helping me get credits that can be put towards my Major requirements so I am able to come back to the states and attend FSU with half of the requirements for my bachelor's degree.

I truly would appreciate your help so I can fulfill my dream.  My dream is not to just study abroad and graduate in 2017 but also go back to China and teach English. When it comes to Mandarin I have such a passion learning the language.Though it is one of the hardest languages, I do not see it as a challenge I see it as so many ways I can help make a positive difference in the world.
