As some of you may know, it's been one hell of a journey for me. Ups, downs, and experiences...great and terrible. I've been ready to move past that, but sitting in limbo couldn't get me over the fence. I come to you, my family and friends, with a chance to help me get back to where I need to be and get rewarded in the process. I would like to purchase a truck and run it as my own business!
After a month of applying to jobs that were at least CLOSE to my career path, I was finally contacted by my choice opportunity. A recruiter from Panther Expedited qualified me as a driver and gave me the green light to search for a truck to bring into the start of my career as an owner-operator. There's a catch. The company selling whichever truck I choose asks for $1,000* which is 20% of the down payment. Panther is said to put up the remainder and I can get started as early as Monday (which would be ideal).
*I set my goal a bit higher in case there may be something the $1,000 wouldn't cover.
As welcome as donations are, this is more an opportunity to invest in something I feel will become great; something I imagine will positively affect my life for many MANY years...as well as put a little extra money in the pockets of the donors (I'm thinking something like %20 over the invested amount). Still, feel free to donate.
Any and all investment propositions will be considered. $5,000 puts a nice dent into the purchase of a truck, but I imagine I'll come across a selection that could range anywhere from $35,000 to $60,000. I've not yet gone to look at a truck or pick one out because only needing $1,000 to start gives me more options.
