My name is Ismael J. Pena and I am a Christian music singer/songwriter and worship leader from Miami, Florida. In the recent years, I have been blessed by the Lord, who has inspired me with worship songs to touch people’s hearts to bring them closer to him. Thanks to him, I have been able to record two worship albums in Spanish, which have been a blessing for many people.
Today, the Lord continues inspiring me new songs of praise and worship, so my heart is burning of joy to continue his mission of blessing more people through a new worship album, for which I ask your kind and generous support.
Jesus gave a great mission to his apostles: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark: 16, 15). I follow this divine mandate through music. I invite you to join me in this mission; to spread his word to every nation, to praise the Lord, and to touch many hearts through worship music.

In Psalm 105, the Psalmist challenges us to “make known among the nations what he has done.” How? By singing praises to him, by telling of his wonderful acts. Let’s bring hope to those who don’t have any. Let’s bring light where there is darkness.
I would like to share with you a little about me. Several years ago the Lord, Jesus Christ, lifted me up from the filth of sin where I was submerged, he filled me with his Holy Spirit, and blessed me and my family and since then, I have never been the same again because Jesus was the only one who could changed me into a new person. Jesus gave me new life, the life I was created to live.
When I was younger, I tried to succeed as a singer in the secular music. Back then, my dreams were to be rich and famous, and to enjoy the pleasures of life in a disorderly manner. Through the music I used to sing and my actions, I led many people into sin. I was wrong, blind and confused, because I did not know the love of God. But the Lord had better plans for me as He has for you. He who is wise and almighty, opened my eyes and made me see his goodness, mercy and forgiveness through a worship song that touched my heart and led me to him, that is when my conversion began.
After I opened my heart and received the Lord in my life as my Lord and Savior in a spiritual retreat, he called me and my family to serve him in the church. He asked me to use the gifts he had given me; those that I had but did not used properly in the past. This time I needed to use them for a greater purpose. He prepared me to do the opposite of what I have done before: He called me to give fruits for him by becoming an instrument of salvation; by leading sinners into repentance and turn to God through the songs he inspired me to write and to sing; inviting everyone to worship and adore the Lord with me.
I have many reasons to worship God just like the Psalm “I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord”
To me this is a very special mission because not only is a way to repair my wrong doing from the past, but also an attempt to undo the contamination with the wrong message that other music sends to our families. We need to hear better messages than the one they are exposed these days.
I would like to invite you to join me in this mission of goodness, so that other people has the chance to be touched by the Holy Spirit, just like I was touched that day that I will never forget .
