Transform Ilwaco Park

We are raising money to renovate and transform our crumbling community park in Ilwaco, WA. We've received a dollar for dollar matching grant from the State of Washington Recreation and Conservation Office of up to $350,000. We have divided the project into 3 phases that will allow us to set realistic fundraising goals.

Phase I will replace the deteriorated bathrooms, picnic pavillion and the rusty, 30 year-old playground equipment. The new facilities will be located close to the road for ease of access and better use of park land. New lighting, fencing and enhanced visibility will create a secure and easy to monitor environment helping ensure the facilities remain clean and safe.

The community was surveyed and transformation of the park was a priority among the citizenry. Ilwaco City Park has been a destination for family gatherings, reunions, parties, and sports events for many years. This project will benefit those that use it currently and entice new visitors to come enjoy the peaceful setting.
