IPNW Exoneree's Conference Fund
Tax deductible
The UW Student Chapter of the Innocence Project Northwest is raising money to send exonerees to the national Innocence Network Conference in San Diego, California this spring. After spending years in prison for crimes they did not commit, exonerees have the chance to meet once a year with other exonerated individuals from across the country. The conference puts on programs to support the exonerees as they face the challenges of rebuilding their lives. Most IPNW exonerees have received no compensation for the years they spent imprisoned, and the cost of traveling to San Diego is prohibitive. We are asking for your support to help fund travel costs including air fare, transportation, and hotel accommodations. Every dollar counts and any donation is very appreciated.
