INTENSIVE CARE NORTH TEES
Donation protected
As many friends are aware my sister has been in hospital for just over three month now. Now again being in intensive care for the fourth time during her stay here and is critical. Most patients who are admitted to intensive care have high temperatures resulting from sepsis although they have alot of medication to help. High temperatures are extremely dangerous alone, more so when sepsis is present as the organs are working alot harder with the pressure of this blood run disease. Having these fans will help towards fighting the reduction in the temperature and the pressure placed on their organs, giving the body more chance to overcome this disease. The ward use Dyson Air fans that have been donated to help patients in reduction of their temperatures. Having a small supply, this means not all patients will get one they need to use the Dyson Air fans for infection control these are around between two and there hundred pound each. We are looking to make this not a struggle in choosing which patient is to be in reciept of the small supply. I am hoping to raise enough for one for each bed. I thank anyone in advance willing to donate. Please any donation is warmly welcomed.
