Honor Chaps

"Chaplain L" has served  his country for 21 years as a  young soilder in the army and also as a Navy Chaplain.  He is affectionately known as " Chaps" by the Marines and Sailors that he has served in garrison and while deployed.In 2012, Chaps was diagnosed with a disease called Multiple Systems Atrophy.The disease has progressed to the point where he is receiving end of life care. After using the resources that are set up for military personnnel, there are gaps that are not covered that support the decisions he and his family have made about his end of life care.These expenses that need to be covered will allow this family focus on quality time instead of financial  concerns as they rearrange life to make the most of the time they have to be together as a family.He is home with his wife of almost 32 years whom is his primary caregiver.He also has three adult children and a grandaughter who is the apple of his eye. The family wanted to make sure the Marines and Sailors knew that Chaps and His family still believe that God is good (all the time) and that Chaps is going to be with the Jesus he loves.Your prayers are appreciated - in addition to any amount you are able to contribute.Even the smallest donations are a sign of support and encouragement.
