Dear friends:
As many of you are already aware, Peru, my country of origin, is experiencing a natural disaster caused by "el niño" rains. These rains are negatively affecting many cities along the costal parts of the country. Families have lost their love ones, the death toll currently stands at 67. Many families have also lost homes, businesses and all their personal belongings. So many are looking for the bodies of their love ones, just hopping to find them still breathing. Adults and children alike are in desperate need of clothing, food and water.
I have created this page to reach out to all my friends and family in order to ask for your help in the form any monetary donations you are able to contribute. Over the next three weeks every dollar raised will go toward assisting with the needs of so many. I know we are unable to fix everything but we can at least offer them some small glimpse of hope. These people need us more now than ever.
