Help Sofia, Diagnosed with CPP

Sofia Paola, is a 3 year old girl. She’s been diagnosed with Central Precocious Puberty (CPP).
A few months ago, we took her to a pediatric endocrinologist, because many signs of sexual maturity began to develop. An X ray of her hand showed a 9 years old bone age, also with a pelvic ultrasound and blood test, the doctor confirmed the CPP.
She needs to be treated with LUPRON DEPOT 3.75 mg every 28 days to decrease signs of puberty. This treatment will be discontinued when she is at an appropriate age to resume puberty, in her case about 11 years old.
If she doesn’t take the treatment, she will fully complete her puberty at this short age: she may have adverse effects on social behavior and phychological development, can reduce adult height potential, and may shift some lifelong health risks.
We live in Venezuela and it’s impossible to find the treatment, given the political and economic situation in our country, deeply affected by currency exchange control wich has taken a toll on every aspect of healthcare. The cost of a single injection in the USA is about $1000, but we also find it in Colombia (Bogotá) for $58 per injection.
Sofia is our first child and it hurts us to see what she’s going through without us having a way to help her since we can’t afford the treatment. We will be truly grateful with every help we can get.
