Help Thom Breathe

Thom Lashinsky needs surgery ASAP! A CT scan in August 2013 revealed a massive growth of polyps in his right sinus cavity.
Thom is 63 years old and a retired field service technician and master electrician.
He was exposed to chaetomium and aspergillus penicillium; two deadly black molds. This happened while subdividing the house he was living in into two separate apartments at the request of his landlord. The property owner refuses to help and to acknowlege that there is even a problem
Thom is extremely ill and needs surgery and treatment. 
He is in constant pain from the intense pressure and it is also pressing against his eyeball, causing intense pain and blurred vision.
He can only breathe through his mouth now and eating is extremely difficult. He has trouble swallowing. Sometimes he starts choking which may last for up to 10 minutes.
He is losing weight and has gone from 200 lbs down to 169 lbs.
The polyps have grown to where he cannot hear out of his right ear anymore. The pressure makes everything sound muffled as if he were underwater. His right ear is ringing constantly. The pressure on his inner ear causes him to lose his balance frequently.
He has tried every over the counter remedy, had prescriptions of antibiotics and steroid nasal sprays, none of which have helped.
He needs surgery to remove the polyps. It is going to cost approximately $25,000 to $30,000 to remove the polyps and do reconstructive surgery on his sinus passages. We need to raise the money as quickly as possible because his doctor says the he must have surgery soon. He keeps getting recurring massive sinus and ear infections and in enormous pain.  He desperately needs help from the community, since he has no health insurance.
We are both always been healthy, independent people and have always been able to take care of ourselves, so it was not an easy decision to ask for help.
I am also also ill, and suffering from confusion, memory loss and chronic fatigue but cannot afford to see a doctor.
